Araporul Velanagam, an initiative by Vetry, is dedicated to revolutionizing farming practices by promoting organic agriculture that prioritizes health and sustainability. We are committed to educating farmers about the benefits of chemical-free farming, ensuring they can grow healthier crops while contributing to a cleaner environment.

Our program has successfully transitioned over 200 farmers from chemical-based farming to organic methods. This shift not only enhances crop quality but also promotes a resilient agricultural ecosystem grounded in traditional knowledge and ecological balance.

The movement gained significant momentum following our 2018 workshop, “Aathi Thamizanin Iyarkai Vivasayam,” led by
Mrs. M. Revathy, CEO of Inspire.

Since then, we’ve continued to grow, collaborating with ecologists and experts across Tamil Nadu to engage farming communities in regenerative practices. Supported by the Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), the Tamil Nadu Irrigation Management Training Institute, and Pasumai Vikatan – Media, Araporul Velanagam serves as a guiding light for sustainable agriculture. We are dedicated to preserving our land while improving the lives of those who rely on it, all without the use of harmful pesticides. Together, we are cultivating a healthier future.
