About Vetry

VETRY – is an NGO formed by eminent Business people of Tirupur in the year 2004 – registered as a Trust & maintaining high degree of reputation within Tirupur District . Obtained 12 AA and 80G exemption under Income Tax act – and maintaining proper / transparent books of account till date.

Past 16 years we possess an excellent track record of social service – more so on Environment related projects. Have constructed a breached check dam across Noyyal river in 2006 and revived Andipalayam PWD Tank, which otherwise was abandoned 30 years back .Made a green field campus of Iduvampalayam Government Higher Secondary school – in 2008, which shelters 3000 Children study today – whom otherwise was studying under Tree’s.

Made 15 Lakh 85 Thousand tree’s between 2015 and 2023 – across Tirupur District – and still continuing this Mass Tree Plantation by 2 Lakh Tree’s every year. Now started Organic Farm School in Tirupur – to teach profitable farming without Pesticides and Insecticides and manuring cost.

Vanathukkul Tirupur started as a tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam,

with a humble target of One Lakh Trees and today we have completed 15 Lakh 85 Thousand trees and still counting. Tirupur is a Knitwear hub of India – which emerged from a village in 1970s to a district and city corporation in 4 decades. Industrialization had its odd effects of spoiling most of the water bodies and very poor air quality. To reduce carbon foot print – Mass tree plantation was started in 2015. We are indulged in 20 years of Social Service.

We made the process easy, structured & organized.

We have a structured process for plantation. We never plant a tree directly. We start with growing them in a pot and nurturing it until they become pretty big. Later we plant them on the farm. We have a team for cultivating the trees until they grow.
